UltraSafe Trio
An all-in-one system that takes smelly, dirty, hard, and contaminated water and transforms it into delicious, healthy, clean, safe water for your entire home.
With 3 stages designed to meet every need, you can rest assured that the UltraSafe Trio is everything you need.
Well System
Multi-Faceted Filter – Filters out sediment and protects the integrity of the next 2 stages. Takes out dirt, rust, sediment, and other particles that would clog most other systems, which is a vital role for ultrafiltration at high flow rates – up to 50 gallons per minute!
Proprietary Hi-Flow/Hi-Capacity Filter – Filters out large particles (smaller than 5 microns) and conditions the incoming water so it can no longer form calcium carbonate. This filtration process extends the live and reduces maintenance of the MicronGuard™ element in the next stage. We utilize Ahlstrom Technology Electro-Positive Charge, which is also in Stage 3. This stage also conditions water so glasses and faucets remain spotless.
MicronGuard™ Electro-Positive Media – Filters out bacteria, viruses, cysts, spores, and other pathogens. It is engineered with an activated carbon, high surface area paper to reduce pathogens, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, forever chemicals (PFOA/PFOS), and heavy metals (including lead). Incorporates Agion silver particles to keep filter from biofouling.
Municipal System

Final Polishing Filter – Final polishing of PFOA/PFOS, lead, chlorine, pesticides, and other contaminants with a high-capacity carbon filter. Improves taste and smell of water. This carbon will outperform similar carbons due to the purity of the water at this step of the process.
Whole House Filters
Solve Your Staining, Odor, & Contaminant Concerns
Discover how whole home filters can benefit you throughout your home.
Protect Your Water-Using Appliances
A 2009 study commissioned by the Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF) and conducted by the Battelle Memorial Institute found that adding whole home water treatment helps water heaters and major appliances operate as efficiently as possible, while preventing clogs in showerheads, faucets, and drains.
Less Cleaning, Fewer Chemicals
Soft, filtered water can remove mineral deposits from glasses, silverware, dishes, faucets, fixtures, and shower glass so you can clean less and enjoy your home and family more!
Softer Skin & Hair
Hard water and water that contains high amounts of dissolved minerals can bind with soap when you wash your hands, body, and hair leaving your skin and scalp dry and itchy. Many people spend a lot of money on lotions, shampoos, conditioners, and cosmetics trying to counteract the effects of hard water. Think of how much money you’d save if you fixed the root of the problem – the water!
Longer-lasting, Brighter Laundry
Whole house filters can remove damaging minerals from your water that literally beat your clothes up in the washing machine leaving them dingy and dull. Protect your clothes easily by installing a whole house filter from Smart Living Water Purification.

Common Issues Whole House Filters Solve
Water should look like nothing, smell like nothing, and taste like nothing.
If your water has a taste, an odor, or a hue other than crystal clear, it’s likely you’ll benefit from a whole house filter. The first step is to identify what’s in your water and then apply the right solution to fix it. A great first step is to schedule a free home water analysis with an expert from Smart Living Water Purification.
How to Choose the Best Water Filtration System
Water quality can vary from house to house, so it’s important to understand what’s in your water before you decide on the right type of filter. A free water analysis can tell you how hard your water is, how much iron is present, if there is chlorine in the water and how much, and can also tell you the pH of your water. While all of these are important and can go a long way to helping you understand your water quality and what needs to be done to improve your water,
Once you’ve performed a water test, a local water expert can help you identify the best filter. Smart Living Water Purification’s vast network of professional, qualified dealers can you help you through this process so you don’t waste money on filters that aren’t right for your water and your home.
How Whole House Filters Work
Filters come in many different shapes and sizes. Some need to be removed and replaced on a regular basis while others “backwash” and clean themselves so you can enjoy cleaner water without the hassle of filter changes. Regardless of whether you chose disposable filters or automatic backwashing filters, each will come in a variety of types and sizes. Some are designed to filter chlorine and organics, while others are made to filter particles like iron, manganese and sediment.
These filters are installed where the water enters your home so that you can enjoy the benefits of clean water throughout your house.
The Difference Between Water Softeners and Water Filters
Water softeners work to remove hardness minerals like calcium and magnesium through a process called ion exchange. The water passes through a tank that contains thousands of tiny beads that are charged with sodium ions. As the water runs through the beads, the calcium and magnesium are exchanged from sodium ions softening your water.
Filters mostly do not use ion exchange, rather they weather use adsorption for chlorine and organics or they literally filter the water much like your coffee filter prevents the coffee grounds from entering the coffee pot.
